There was an event organized maybe last year where all the twins from that district came and they recorded it and this poster archives all of them. it is so amazing to see fathers and nuns along with others. it was really a huge poster.
If some one can translate this for me? i know this is like a foundation stone. other than 765, 1590, 5, 4 and 22 i dont know what it means. so looking at this figures we can of course make a story: like:
The foundation of this church was done in 765AD and then in 1590AD it went through renovation and it became bigger and you can see strange European influence. it took 22years – no it cant be maybe it took 5 years to make. it has 4 doors? but still wondering about 22? or maybe all the numbers links to the dates of the ruler change in the church – who has the control of the church – or might be the change of bishops
Southists soldiers against the Portuguese army – sounds quite convincing.
The two images says it is a translation of the original and i require one more translation of it.
St. Mary’s Knanaya church, Kaduthuruthi, Kottayam dist.Established in AD 400.in this church everybody talks about the huge 50ft monolithic cross. but for me the images on the church outside walls was very interesting which has a very oral transitional narrative story. it has a very organic local quality to the styling of it.
